This bit offers precise control without the use of a full bridle. Designed to combine the effects of a snaffle and curb. The French style double-jointed mouth piece decreases the nutcracker effect, making it a somewhat milder bit than a single jointed snaffle. This bit should be used with two reins, or with a bit converter for the use of a single rein. This bit encourages the horse to bend at the poll with the application of poll pressure applied by the curb reins. Direct pressure for steering is applied with the snaffle rein.
